Skating backwards, executing tight turns, and working on balance and agility help develop a player's ability to control their edges, which is a crucial skill for skating, changing directions, and making quick turns on the ice.  

SHOOT TO SCORE - 1 SESSION 

• 2016-2015 YOB: August 26, 2023 11:30-12:30pm

Designed to improve players' shooting skills and accuracy, with the goal of increasing their ability to score goals during games.

• 2016-2015 YOB: 4:30-5:30pm

HDC has scheduled and designed its U9 prep camps to help players peak right before Hockey evaluations.

Our program is designed to improve player confidence as they enter the evaluation process. Our drills are meticulously planned and instructed to ensure players are performing each drill to perfection. HDC also incorporates conditioning drills to ensure that each player has the stamina to outwork and outperform their peer group.  

Each 1-hour session will focus on one or two key fundamental skills

*** NOTE: SESSION TIMES AND AGE GROUPS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE BASED ON REGISTRATIONS. SKILL WILL TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER AGE. WE WILL MOVE PLAYERS TO APPROPRIATE SESSIONS BASED ON SKILL.
