Karl MacPhee was born and raised in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, and played minor hockey for the Cape Breton County Minor Hockey Association. During this time, he played AAA hockey and moved on to play in the Army for two years before starting his coaching career. Karl coached Pee Wee AA and AAA, Bantam A, and AA teams in Edmonton and St. Albert.
The majority of Karl’s hockey coaching has been on, and off-ice with hockey academies, hockey schools, and off-season strength and conditioning programs across Alberta, including TSC Hockey Academy, Canada Hockey Skills Academy, Golden Bears Hockey School and the Dave King Hockey School.
Karl is also a certified personal trainer, nutrition coach, and life coach with over 20 years of combined coaching experience with athletes and the general population.
His favourite ice cream flavour is chocolate, and he likes to play percussion instruments. If stranded on a deserted island, Karl would take a knife and fishing net to eat, build tools and shelter, and defend himself if necessary.
Jared is from Calgary Alberta & currently playing for the MRU Cougars. He has coached many teams including Hockey Canada summer camps, Hockey Canada skills academy& the AJHL All-Rookie Team.

Nick is a native of Calgary Alberta, where he played his minor Hockey with SVHA and Calgary Northstars.
Nick signed by the Medicine Hat Tigers in 2017 and has been with the team since 2018 after a stint with the Fort McMurray Oil Barons.
Nick has been working and training at HDC for the past three years and will continue to lead offensive development programs for players of all skills and ages.
Ty hails from Calgary Alberta, where he played his minor Hockey with SVHA and Calgary Northstars before moving on to a short Junior career and eventually end up receiving a scholarship to play for Providence.

Originally from BC but moved to Calgary in 2015. At the age of 15, Cheyann played in a World's select tournament in Bolzano Italy and at the age of 16, she moved to Finland and played Semi-Pro. Cheyanne has also played on the UofC Women's Dinos Hockey Team for 4 years and in 2019 and in the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHPA). Cheyann has coached for numerous hockey schools and camps: HDC, P3, Hockey Alberta, Dino's Camps, YWAM. If she could have any superpower she would choose mind control because she thinks it would be cool controlling other people's minds. Cheyann's favourite ice cream flavour is cotton candy.
As an elite-level goaltender and having played in leagues such as HJHL and SCAHL, Nathan brings professional-level coaching to HDC. Nathan uses his background and experience to develop a goaltender's game from the ground up, working on key positioning and movements that slow the game down and allow for the goalie to be in the right position at the right time.
